My children are 4 and 3, I'm looking for a simple and easy to build a bird house and bird feeder or with them?

Of ideas?

Add pineapple bird feeder! My love to those preschool children and they can do with a little help! Get a pineapple and a long rope to tie principle. Roll or spread of vegetable shortening or lard (Crisco works well) in the cone. You can then roll in bird seed oats, cornmeal or uncooked (covered well). You can also use chopped dried fruit chopped nuts, seeds (sunflower seeds, the birds love!). Hanging from a tree outside and observe the birds are coming! Here some of the steps and pictures of how you can watch http://www.enviro-explorers.com/pinecone_web_page/pineconefeederindex.html He has fun!

I'm remodling our bathroom is full of countries, two of Wall your background or yellow. I need one means different ideas and not just complete the grid wooden chair. Curtians Topper shower window and I have been sewing country angels, birdhouses, sunflower, truck and pots of clay in it .. Ideas appreciated ..

You could buy garlands of silk more of sunflowers that are attached to the wall at the desired height. This would make an interesting border. Or you can fill a chair rail with the fabric you are using only basic back and stick it in place. You can buy bird houses various drilling small holes through the sides. Hanging about four feet and then executes a raffia loot by the holes. Only a few different ideas. Be creative and have fun.

How do I get the cedar waxwings come to my bird feeder?

I see them all the time by the pond which is about 120 'of our food, but never seem to come on deck.

Cedar Waxwings eat a wide variety of fruits, berries and insects and probably will not attract the cribs available in specialty stores (Wild Birds Unlimited, Wild Bird forever), or a landscape more close to his house to offer fruit / fruit may attract birds. Plants such as Viburnum (berries) and persimmon (fruit trees) will attract birds when fruit different. To create a feeding area for waxwing, bird feeders at least 10 meters from your seed feeder.

I want to paint a ….? Birdhouse

Hello. My mother wants an aviary for your largest gate (to hang on the wing) and I purchased at craft store. I have some acrylic paints and a closure plan, but my question is, do I need to paint anything on the wood before painting? Or does nothing. Only I'm looking to get rich colors of Nice. I do not want the paint to be absorbed by the wood in advance and dull after a short period. Your thoughts? I thank you some semi-gloss and matte "finish" it would be the same thing? Cause it says to use before or after the project to improve the durability … I think it's regular acrylic paint, but is "complete"

painted one in my painting class, I remind you … or sand to seal the 2 layers of bright white paint and paint color you want, then sealed and ready!
